Assignment 7 looks at how the site from the previous assignment is situated in its current context. A street map created in Adobe Illustrator was first made to illustrate the most effective pathways to reach the site. Given the current situation of the Olmstead parks, this is also a good opportunity to display how the Route 33 expressway has impacted MLK Jr. Park. The second map, also created in Adobe Illustrator, is a figure-ground map that was made to illustrate the building footprint surrounding the site. The final map is a 3D isometric drawing of the park made in SketchUp and was created to display the layout of the site as it is currently.
